[Review · Cheap Shared Hosting]

HostingerIndie

Cheapest credible shared host, if you commit 4 years

[01] Verdict

Hostinger's Premium plan is $2.99/month — but only if you prepay 48 months ($143). Renewal is $10.99/month, a 3.7x jump. Two-year and one-year terms cost noticeably more upfront.

The product itself is genuinely good for the price: LiteSpeed servers, custom hPanel that's faster than cPanel, free CDN, and a one-year free domain. Performance on the entry plan is competitive with hosts charging triple.

Upsells at checkout are aggressive — daily backups, SEO toolkit, and "priority" support are all pre-toggled add-ons. Untoggle them. Independent (Lithuania-based), not part of Newfold or EIG legacy.
